ABOUT

MISSION AND HISTORY

The College Crash Course was born through a collaboration between

MIRA USA and Princeton undergraduate students who are part of the Association of Latinx Activism and Service (ALAS).

MIRA USA is a non-profit organization that promotes society’s well-being.

The organization was born on February 19, 2005, as a response to the needs of the underprivileged community in the United States. Through the hard work of its volunteers, MIRA USA seeks to generate real solutions for issues related to the environment and immigration matters. MIRA USA currently operates in 9 states and strives to continuously improve the quality of life of the underprivileged, serving as a channel through which various services and information could be obtained.

ALAS is a campus organization at Princeton University that seeks to provide its members with opportunities to get involved helping the Latinx community.

In coming together these organizations hope to provide students in underserved communities with the information and resources necessary for them to pursue a college education.
